About this event

Tomorrow's workforce is in our schools today. Join educators, employers, and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation to learn how the Real World Learning initiative is preparing students for work and learning after graduation.

Business engagement in the Real World Learning initiative is critical to providing students with opportunities to succeed past high school. Students learn employer-recognized skill sets, a network of business contacts, and a clear plan for transitioning from classroom to career. Discover how your business can benefit from providing meaningful experiences both virtually and in-person for our region's youth.

  • Salvador Ocampo, Kauffman Foundation
  • Anita Newton, Community America Credit Union

  • The benefits for your business and what to expect from a school and employer partnership.
  • Perspective from other employers.
  • Examples of successful virtual client-connected projects between employers and students and/or classrooms that can be initiated in the 2020-2021 school year.
